In this component directory you find data structures and geometric algorithms, which are part of the CGAL Library. The hierarchical view you find here is complementary to the CGAL Package Overview.

For each component we give information about its key features, availability, its robustness, and its license. For many components we provide links to the most relevant reference manual pages, and to a downloadable demo for Windows.

The green black bar is our quality rating, integrating since when the component is available, the effort put into, the number of active users, the complexity of the code, etc. A more experimental package may be useful in a proof of concept, but not in a product that gets shipped to customers.
